Review of Hotel Gasthof Zum Ochsen in Arlesheim:
Everything was simply great. the staff was excellent, and the place was spotlessly clean. We loved the location, as it was just a short walk to various amenities, including convenient electrical outlets for all our devices. the nearby rustic restaurant added to our enjoyable experience, making it a perfect stay for us. Plus, we were close to the motorway and Basel!

A good breakfast.
We were not informed that a wedding would take place on the floor below us that would last till 2.30am, so the quality of sleep was very poor.

Exceptionally comfortable bed in the queen room, plus an individual safe, central heating, and a work desk. Had VERY GOOD service. Not to mention free Wi-Fi. Location not far from enough electrical outlets to satisfy all the devices, the motorway and Basel and the center of town.

The two meals I had (dinner and breakfast) were excellent. Service was good both in the restaurant and at the reception. My room was quiet and the bathroom spacious.
Dinner is very good but rather expensive. My room was slightly chilly.

The hotel's decoration is simply delightful, with its charming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were beautifully maintained, providing a peaceful and comfortable environment for us seniors to relax and socialize. I especially appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with spacious elevators and well-lit corridors, making it easy for me to get around.
I would have loved to see more options for senior-friendly activities during our stay. Perhaps some organized outings or workshops designed specifically for us.
